BIMI Record Checker

Check BIMI configuration, logo URL, and Verified Mark Certificate for any domain.

BIMI Record Checker

Check if a domain has BIMI configured. BIMI displays your logo in Gmail, Yahoo, and Apple Mail inboxes for authenticated senders with DMARC enforcement.

BIMI requirements

  • DMARC policy of p=quarantine or p=reject at pct=100
  • SVG Tiny PS logo hosted at HTTPS URL
  • BIMI TXT record at default._bimi.yourdomain.com
  • Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) required for Gmail (optional for others)

BIMI Record Checker: Verify Your Brand Logo Configuration

BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) is the newest layer of email authentication — it rewards senders who have properly implemented DMARC enforcement with the ability to display their logo in the inbox. When configured correctly, your brand logo appears next to your messages in Gmail and Yahoo before recipients even open them, increasing recognition and trust.

BIMI Requirements Checklist

  • DMARC p=quarantine or p=reject at pct=100 — The foundation. BIMI is the reward for full DMARC enforcement. Use the DMARC Checker to verify your policy is correctly configured.
  • SVG Tiny PS format logo — Standard SVG files don't work. The logo must conform to SVG Tiny PS (portable/secure) specification. Many design tools can export this format, and online converters exist.
  • Logo hosted at HTTPS URL — The l= tag must point to a publicly accessible HTTPS URL. The file must be served with appropriate MIME type.
  • VMC for Gmail — A Verified Mark Certificate issued by Entrust or DigiCert, requiring a registered trademark. Required for Gmail logo display; optional for Yahoo, Apple, and Fastmail.

The Business Case for BIMI

Research from multiple senders has shown 10-15% increases in open rates after BIMI implementation, attributed to increased brand recognition in the inbox. For brands with strong visual identity, the logo appearing in the inbox provides a trust signal that differentiates legitimate mail from phishing attempts. BIMI also indirectly improves deliverability by requiring full DMARC enforcement, which protects your domain from spoofing.
